About Us
Technology is a small IT Support company run by Irfan. He is a full time Programme Manager who started this company to help friends and family. Since then he has expanded to support several other small businesses which include Dental Practices, Recruitment agencies and others. Primarily working in the evenings and weekends with telephone support during the work day, iTechnology is able to provide support to small businesses at a convenient time, minimising impact to the day to day running of the business. Irfan has extensive IT knowledge which enables him to provide prompt and sound advice for resolving the majority of IT issues quickly. Partnering with industry leaders, iTechnology is able to provide all your IT requirements whatever size.
Support & Maintenance
The maintenance and support contract offers:
- Regular (1) inspection of the Network, server and workstations, software configuration and issues including backups ensuring smooth operation. Workstation caches are cleared regularly to ensure reasonable PC speeds.
- Phone support (2) or visit where necessary relating to these areas during this period.
- If a server or workstation is deemed inoperable every effort is made to ensure business can continue as normal.
- Non business issues will be resolved at mutually convenient times.
The following is charged independent of the contract
- Work arising in addition to agreed
- Not associated to maintenance of Network/ Server/ Workstations/ Software/ Backup
- Breakages or errors caused by staff or visitors.
- Upgrades to the Network/Computers – generally the life span of a computer is 3-4 years but with care it can be extended to up to 5+ years.
- Hardware or software costs as required and only purchased on your behalf with your authority.
Project Management & Consultancy
Irfan is a Prince II and Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Practitioner with extensive IT knowledge. Irfan is an enthusiastic and dy- namic individual who has developed communication, decision-making, influential, and proactive leadership skills within a Project Manage- ment & Consultancy environment through self-motivation, dedication, and enthusiasm. He has a proven ability to work within a team, indi- vidually and as team manager, always looking to offer support & motivation to ensure objectives are met. He aims to maintain a positive outlook even when under pressure from challenging, and difficult situations.
- By regular, it is meant that I will investigate the system on a regular basis, and if during the holiday season, around the time of your clo- sure/opening as per local agreement. You will be given appropriate notice for periods of unavailability, and if the last or first week of the month falls at a time when I am on leave, I will make every attempt to complete health checks before I go or endeavour to provide suitable arrangements.
- I will provide phone support or visit where necessary relating to these areas during this period, in principle I am contactable before 0930 and after 1730 weekdays and all weekend. During the hours of 0930 and 1730 you can leave a message on my mobile and I will aim to get back to you as soon as possible.
